HTC has officially taken the wraps of their latest Android smartphone, unveiling the Desire X at IFA in Berlin, Germany. As an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich handset, the phone falls somewhere between the last iteration and the One series.
Specs for the Desire X include a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 786MB RAM, 4GB internal storage (w/ microSD), 5-megapixel rear camera, Beats Audio, and a few other standard connections. Due to hit various markets as soon as September, it’s not clear if the Desire X will end up in the United States.
