LG is getting ready to launch their best smartphone ever, and people are actually calling it a “superphone”. I am talking about the LG (say what!?) Eclipse, which was leaked a month ago. We heard that it will be running on the blazing fast Quad-Core Qualcomm Krait CPU with Adreno 320 GPU. Now, the device has appeared in a User Agent Profile, as well as on Bluetooth SIG certification. That’s not all, folks – the most interesting thing here is that the Eclipse is showing up in two flavors, the LG E970 and LG LS970.
According to Engadget, the LG LS970 is for Sprint and the LG E970 is for AT&T. If you read UAP above, you can see that it comes with a display resolution of 1280 x 768, and we are told that it comes with a 4.67″ display, meaning the pixel density is probably 320ppi. Bluetooth SIG openly mentioned that the device will be available in the North American market around 2012.10.31,so we should see it somewhere by the end of this year. It will make the competition even tougher for the LG Eclipse because by then; we will see some powerful devices from different manufacturers in the market.
LG Eclipse coming to AT&T and Sprint later this year? originally appeared on AndroidGuys.
