Want to play with a Transformer Prime before it’s released? Check your local GameStop this weekend

Itching to play with an ASUS Transformer Prime before it’s released? Then you might want to check with your local GameStop to see if you can’t get some hands-on time with one this weekend. GameStop has announced that select stores will have a few ASUS Transformer Primes on-hand for demoing beginning this weekend. This early demo is a way for GameStop to garner excitement (as if this device needed it) for the first ever quad-core Android tablet which will begin shipping December 19th. The Prime is already available for pre-order through GameStop (I believe they have already sold out) and every Prime purchased through the famous game retailer will come with a selection of free games, including Shadowgun, the Kongregate Arcade app, and a digital issue of Game Informer magazine.

Whether you’ve already decided to purchase an ASUS Transformer Prime or are still on the fence, heading down to a GameStop near you for some hands-on time is the best way to find out whether or not you’ll like it. You may even get a chance to try out a few games coupled with GameStop’s wireless Bluetooth controller. There’s no information on which stores will have them available but if you find one, be sure to let us know. Check out the press release for full info. Cheers!
